Yes, I read Stephen W. Hawking's book. Dr. Robert Schuller presents a tiny insight and so I'll share Rev. Dr. Robert Schuller's piece:
Scientist/Technology are on the verge of proving there's no God? What do they call it TOE (Theory of Everything). Yes. This TOE has made the news. It's Stephen W. Hawking, Professor of mathematics at Cambridge University. "My proposal," Stephen says, "is the universe is a closed system. We don't need to suppose there's something outside the universe which is not subject to its law. It's claim the laws of science will suffice for an explanation of the universe."
This TOE causes some to question: "If laws of sci-tech can explain everything, where does God fit in?" Stephen Hawkings credentials are impeccable. When he speaks, people listen. They believe him. For those impressed with Dr. Hawking's I'll share the rest of the story: "Even if we had a TOE," Stephen admits, "we would still be left with one (1) final question.
WHAT is it that breathes fire into the equations and makes a universe for them to describe?"
And does Stephen have an answer?
"If I knew that," "Then I would know everything important."
and so what magic makes a rose grow Stephen?
So we're back to the possibility of God. Who puts fire into equations and in human hearts, souls and minds. Amen.
